And they had a free posting day on Sept 9- Listing fee AND reserve fees were free. I put up hundreds of items and I am sure other sellers did too- that ought to hurt their bottom line.

Ramades, i agree that EBAY is incredibly bloated...certainly EBAY's fundamentals, as intriguing as they are, do not justify a $20 bn. market cap. however, it deserves SOME premium due to it's leadership position. an interesting aside is that EBAY insiders have sold stock valued at six times EBAY's revenues during the past twelve months. a more vindictive person would perhaps call it a stock selling scam...
