Ramades, most probably CPI will follow PPI's lead...a benign "core rate" and a less benign overall rate. it remains to be seen for how much longer the market stays convinced that food and energy don't matter. w/regards to EBAY, i heard that a German fund was a big buyer of the nutz today...and in spite of today's performance of the sector, i saw some large sellers as well in the market today who apparently took advantage of this. we'll see how it shakes out... hb
