Do you think the MILLIONS of customers are going to stop and wait until next year some time to see if AMD has enough Athlon's to go around ? Or do you think the millions of Intel customers will decide to BID UP the price on the few hundred thousand K7's that AMD can manage to squeeze out over the next 6 months ? And wait again for some kinda motherboard to plug them into? In case you hadn't noticed, a 600 MHz Pentium /// is infinitley faster than a 650 MHz Athlon that either can't be obtained or can't be plugged into a motherboard.
