All the news releases indicate an intent to sell. I read it as strategic alternatives. I believe contract manufacturing is one of the options being considered. As I recall ERICY sold some of its assembly operations to a contract manufacturer some time ago. It mentioned terrestrial phones. That implies it will keep the GSTRG satellite phones in house. Likely to be high margin.

Contract manufacturing allows Q to maintain control over the product. IT is # 2 in market share in the US now. HQ rep implied otherwise.

Don't count out Samsung as purchaser. They are a large CDMA supporter. Only barrier is high level of debt.

Could they split the handset division up and sell North America to MOT and Europe to Seimans.Just speculating
