JFD, It looks like IBM is on the offensive against SUNW with their recent product introductions. One has to wonder if those anti-MSFT alliances that had been developed will continue into the future. As IBM plans to makes money on mainframes and has big plans for Windows2000, i would think they might be privately changing their strategic alliances. I don't expect much help to Sunw from IBM in promoting Star Office. It just looks like a Sunw/AOL/Netscape(and possibly Oracle) world against the rest of the techs including IBM, Dell, MSFT etc.
Just a hunch.
