john...re: dell,dram,just in time what many forget is that jit/bto hangs in a delicate balance. contracts usually maintain fixed price for a period, and if import supply currency futures bought as an overlay. problem that will occur with even the best of executions is if a fracture occurs in the supply chain, usually never happens in the best of times......but one must only look to the land of the rising sun to see what happens in a downturn.... good luck ed.a. p.s.......not to worry, before you know it "mikey" will complete his takeover of big blue.......
