Right!!! When you're pacing, you are impatient, and want time to pass. When you're pacing yourself, you want to slow things down because they are going too fast. Like, you're running too fast so you need to slow down, or you're eating too much at Thanksgiving, and you want to save room for dessert, or you're reading your vacation books so fast you'll run out before the vacation is done. Well, good. We've figured that one out. Good thing we already speak English, try explaining THAT one to a non-native English speaker.
