I share the belief that JP Morgan really sandbagged us today. Coms would have traded over 30 if it were not for them. The timing was such that it had to have been done as a favor to someone. Judging from yesterday and today's trading I am surprised there were as many shares that though a buyout was about to happen.

Spinning Palm is a good move (that's what we've been screaming for a year now) maybe better late than never. I sure hope EB saved a sh!tload in taxes, b/c as far as I'm concered he lost his job over this. (Maybe he doesn't know it yet. But he'll figure it out. He is such a bright boy.)

If Palm plays its cards right it could be worth more in the next year than 3Com right now. And despite JPM vote of no confidence, all COMS needs is a better leader to gain the streets confidence, which will raise the stock which will help coms attract and keep talent...so simple really.
Good luck and better profits,
