the salient point

I don't want to go off on my "It's ridiculous" tyrade again, but if God were in the future and knew something, then it's going to happen!
If it's going to happen, then there is no choice in the matter.

Future possiblilites are often studied and there is a common way to look at it. When an event happens it begins a cone of possibilities which spreads out up to the speed of light. If there is a constraint then that cone is constricted to a section. This can reduce to a line if the constraint is specific enough, and the implication is that there is but one way to proceed. It doesn't matter who knows, if the future is constrained then it is.

It's a matter of information. If the state of the universe is fixed at some point then the time line must go through it. It matters not whether the universe is aware of the fixation as it travels. This is called determinism.
