Here's another "Northerner" thought. As a kid... going to the outdoor rink when it's 35 below. Spending more time shovelling the snow off the rink than playing. Wearing a toque under the helmet to keep your ears from freezing making the helmet so tight your eyes are popping out of your head. Taking a slap shot in your frozen toe and having the puck dent the toe on your skate in. Catching a stick in your frozen face and not realize it until you see the blood on your shirt....... and pretending your Frank Mahovolowich (sp) and deaking the goalie for the winning goal-and for a minute your in the Forum and the whole crowd is cheering.
