Yeah well there are a few books that everyone has read that likes the adventure genre so I'm not really surprised you read Into Thin Air. Theres also the books on Shackleton's voyage "the endurance"... a few books about that which are popular, you may want to check that out.

Junger looks exactly like his pic. But hes not a big muscular guy like a fisherman would be so he seems a little out of place commenting on the storm. Thats why I think Clooney is excellent casting for that movie. "Into thin air" wouldn't make a good movie... too much setup and character development required... but perfect storm could be good, who knows.

BTW tons of gay authors, thats why I get so many books signed being in SF... but at the same time those pictures are pretty complementary. Junger looks about like his picture but the "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil" guy.. Berendt I think... looks NOTHING like his picture... both gay though, as Jerry Seinfeld used to say "not that theres anything wrong with that!!"... rofl
