Gary,

Take a look at the SCH chart for today. siliconinvestor.com It had very much the same sell-off and volume spike from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. There is also higher volume in EGRP and AMTD after 3 p.m., but nothing out of the ordinary. Given the SCH chart, perhaps this is sector specific (like someone saw SCH's monthly volume numbers, whenever they come out, and pushed the SELL button).

What could have happened at 3 pm that caused this kind of sell-off could it have been the knowledge that some holder wanted to get rid of a significant block that moved the stock down. I am speculating that there are more blocks to come from these discount brokers who flat out need these funds for expansion and advertising, and perhaps someone was front running ahead of these imminent sales.

I speculate that we will hear more about this late afternoon activity.
Is there anyway to tell who sold those shares at 3 pm that took it down so dramatically?
