Alohal,

Regarding laptop.

400Mhz Celeron
64 RAM upgradable to 194
6.8 Gig harddrive
14.1 TFT
2x DVD
6.7 lbs and a nice slim profile
Ports, Ifrared (cool!), USB = stanard ports

$1699 (reg price $2099 but they knocked off $400 for prodigy service - may I add that this PRGY service is really good. BUY PRGY?)

It is very nice (& quick too)

A similar Dell priced @$2800 w/1 year internet svc.
I priced an identical setup at Dell.com

Seriously, when I was waiting in line, there was a couple next to me. I told them I was considering a Dell to which the woman replied "Yeah, the Dell's are expensive and there really isn't much of a difference."

You can buy a PC @ Best Buy for $99! (CPU, MON, Printer)

I understand the difference between the consumer and business PC segments and their respective dynamics I have got to feel a little cautious with these PC giveaways.

anyway, D I V E R S I F Y,
JH
