Mike, all your questions are well considered, but what I found most important about Tuesday was how management handled it. They released several positive press releases in the very early morning, then reported themselves that they would meet or beat estimates (I like the meet or beat, as it allows the market to hope, and hope w/ a dollop of uncertainty provides maximum momentum), and then announced (probably after realizing they could NOT delay announcement until Wednesday) the sale of the handset division, thus addressing some analysts' and G&K thread concerns. Because today's market depends so much on perception, I appreciate their correcting their mistake so quickly and so well. It's something I'll remember when the next rumor mill starts spinning.
