Patrick,

I do no see much difference between Brocade's and Ancor's press releases on Novell, except may be (I am reading tea leafs here) the way Michael Bryant (Novell's director of product marketing) comments about scalability. It is a stronger emphasis on Ancor's press release IMHO.

From Brocade's release:
<<"The combination of NetWare Cluster Services on NetWare 5 and Fibre Channel connectivity from BROCADE and its OEM partners brings an extremely high performance solution to our customers and eliminates the historical scalability and bandwidth bottleneck of storage connectivity.">>>

From Ancor's release:
<<<"With data storage needs doubling every nine months and e-commerce growing at least that quickly, the importance of scalability cannot be understated," said Michael Bryant, director of product marketing for Novell. "NetWare Cluster Services for NetWare 5 provides extreme reliability and availability no matter how large the e-business environment scales, and we think Fibre Channel switched fabrics from Ancor support those demands extremely well.">>>

PS: please stop asking AR on yahoo any serious questions. This person is incapable of conversing in a civil manner. Nothing came out of his/her mouth can be taken seriously anyway. Please stop. It is very annoying.
