When was the last time an American of sound mind starved to death?

There is such a multitude of social programs to help the unfortunate, only the insane or extremely stupid could be at a disadvantage.

As for illeteracy, its a choice. If you do not take advantage of the plethora of free GEDs and the basic high school diploma, you are a moron.

And the drug problem, how friggin much more money does it need? Drug enforcement is the second largest financial outlay of all Goverment expenditure in the US, second to Social Security.

We could spend our entire economic output on drug enforcement, and it STILL wouldn't work.

Okay. Out of curiosity, if you meet a little old lady trying to cross the street, do you help out? Have you ever held a door for someone? Our aid to foreign countries is mostly on this level. Do you not feel any responsibility to help out just because they are human too?
