When was the golden age?

I'm no more interested in defeating liberals than I am in defeating conservatives or libertarians. All three - and a number of others - have a few intelligent ideas mixed in with a whole lot of nonsensical and fanatical dogma.

An attempt to extract and synthesize the worthy bits would be a great enterprise, though all three groups would probably crucify whoever accomplished it.

Actually, there are many traditions liberals embrace. Our nation's cultural infrastructure, a liberal bastion, is wrought with tradition. Certain professions, like journalism, are ruled by traditional standards promoted by liberals. From traditional music to sports records to political campaigning, liberals champion myriad traditions.

Indeed, the traditions that liberals oppose are those of moral or religious significance.
