Talisman Achieves New Production Highs in Sudan Despite Pipeline Interruption CALGARY, Sept. 20 /CNW-PRN/ - Talisman Energy Inc. today announced the occurrence of a minor incident last night on the northern part of the Greater Nile Petroleum Operating Company pipeline near Atbara. Repairs are underway and no disruptions to production operations or tanker liftings are anticipated. A new production record of 136,000 bbls/d was attained yesterday at Heglig. Talisman Energy Inc. is the largest independent Canadian oil and gas producer. The Company has operations in Canada, the North Sea, Indonesia and Sudan. Talisman is also conducting exploration in Algeria and Trinidad.
