I think the ADIC product still incorporates a crossroads bridge inside the box. They have been testing and using G2 hubs for awhile

ADIC is the real deal, a solid counter punch to STK/BRCD. Plus, customers can go direct fibre-fibre instead of bridging SCSI. The last price I saw for a Crossroads bridge was $5000.

You are right. This news was nothing more than a certification, prove of concept. I don't think Novell will be selling much of this system this year, much the same like Sequent starting out NUMA/Q. I have a different opinion on Gadzoox, however. I don't think their switch perform in the same class like Brocade or Ancor IMO.
