My feeling on why it may not drop as much on the puts is the downside fear among Oracle stock holders may be higher than one might expect from an earnings announcement. Of course that is my reason for trying to buy puts as well---given the stock does not go down too much first thing in the morning. In that scenario, i would think that the selling would pick up very fast.
I don't see many aggressive buyers. I just hope the market makers can slow down the decline for the 1st 10 minutes--just enough time for my options trade.
