Paul,The poor intel P-IIIflounder is getting smaller and slower every day, by comparison. Now 100 Mhz behind and dying on the vine. Or perhaps we should call it the lardass chip and you a Lardassian,(you are a bit chubby) since you have so much experience with science fiction.

I read somewhere on the web that current Athlons don't support SMP. Somewhere ain't very descriptive, but it may have been at one of the BIG hardware review sites.

Can anyone help out?
