FZ; What I didn't know was that Lon Horiuchi, the FBI
trigger man at Ruby Ridge, was also present at Waco.
& in charge of the snipers. That he never showed any regrets
about killing that unarmed women and was put in charge of
snipers again, that's sicker than sick.

<< You see the government must simply act as a machine and enforce the rules without interference of common sense or intelligence. >>

I somewhat agree with what you say here. It doesn't happen all the time, but our government does act, in many cases, without common sense.

I wonder why Tim McVeigh was given a $10 million dollar defense fund to defend himself, while most law abiding citizens wouldn't be given jack squat if charged with a crime.

But, lack of common sense does not equate to a "government gone mad". It just means that some our government doesn't work too well some times.

<< And with that machine-like mentality, government also has decided to enter into parenting more and more personal aspects of our lives. >>

Good point. A mother gives her misbehaving child a slap and gets arrested. What a crock. And now, it looks like a fringe conservative element of our government wants to control a woman's reproductive rights by outlawing abortion.

Voters need to put a stop to government intrusion in our lives by kicking out the conservative Republican radicals.
