REITs hit oversold on the daily charts yesterdayfor ^RMS.
Looks like they are ready to make a short term ride up. Hope it is strong and long!!!

There are rumblings on the Street that Mid-America Apartment Communities (MAA:NYSE) is quietly meeting with analysts today to guide their earnings numbers lower. Sources say the company is telling analysts that 1999 funds from operations, or FFO, a widely accepted measure of a REIT's earnings and cash flow, will be in the area of $2.74 per share, down from the current First Call/Thomson Financial consensus of $2.86. The Memphis-based apartment REIT is said to be planning a public announcement about the shortfall Thursday. The company told TSC it would not comment on the matter until then.
