Wellllllll
Maybe I can be helped. But first;

tell me what it is that you think I need to change,

then describe your qualifications for helping me to achieve that change.

Maybe we can all work together here and get me all fixed up.

Even Nulldog says I need help.

from C Kahn:

Truedog, "Fickle Floyd" decided to go up north. So we're breathing a sigh of relief here. But I can imagine how the people in the Carolinas must feel about now.

You know, in my house Bud is the weather freak. We have 5 televisions in a house that only 2 people live in. And I probably watch television about 5 or 6 hours a week, tops. If there are 2 football games on at the same time, he'll roll the kitchen TV into the living room so he won't miss anything. That still leaves me with 3 TV's that I'm probably not watching anyway.

But seriously, at any give time, my husband has about 30-40 cars on his car lot, another 15-20 out on accounts receivable, until they're paid off, and maybe 10 more at auctions waiting to be sold wholesale to other dealers. So I can understand his concern about the weather. That's a lot of cars to get blown away in a hurricane. Of course he tries to protect the more expensive ones. But that's a whole heck of a lot of cars to find safe places for. Even with insurance, he's only going to get the loan value, no matter how much work he's put into them. (Paint jobs, mechanical repairs, etc.)

But getting back to the weather reports, why do they always have some reporter in a raincoat getting blown away? I'd take their word for it from the news room just as well.

I know that CMike will do what he feels is right for him. I just felt bad when he told us about his background. And since you live in the same area, and have had similar experiences, I would think that the 2 of you could relate. I know that people don't like being told what they ought to believe. I just think that you 2 probably have a lot in common.

Well I've bent your ear long enough. Thanks for your concern about "Fickle Floyd".
