....The carrier[MCI Worldcom] is also considering the construction of a "shadow network" to provide additional redundancy, and is studying whether or not to pour more resources into building up MCI's legacy Nortel network and decrease reliance on Lucent Technologies Inc. switches. Bosco and Thread, Sounds like a significant decision has to be made and could be very good for NT. Could someone refresh my memory. I know there have been a couple of outages that made headlines. Was the one that MCI Worldcom recently had traced back to Lucent, hence Ascend, hence Cascade frame relay equipment? I think it was Cascade that Ascend purchased before Ascend was purchased by Lucent. Thanks, MikeM(From Florida)
