Pangea comments on trading activity
Pangea Goldfields Inc PGD
Shares issued 20,612,920 1999-09-14 close $2.9
Wednesday Sep 15 1999
Mr. Jean-Charles Potvin reports
At the request of the Toronto Stock Exchange, Pangea Goldfields has issued the following statement commenting on the unusual trading volume in its shares on Tuesday, Sept. 14, 1999.
Pangea knows of no reason why the volume of trading in its shares substantially surpassed its daily average volume. Drilling is in progress on two of its projects in Tanzania and results are expected within three weeks.
At the Tulawaka project a reverse circulation drill program at 12.5-metre centres was designed to test the lateral extension of the tallus zone. Diamond drilling is also in progress to test both the east and west zones at depth.
At the Golden Ridge project, a minimum 10,000-metre drill program managed by Barrick Gold is under way to extend the known mineralization at depths below 100 metres.
As well, drill programs at the Kakindu project and the Bulyanhulu South project in Tanzania are expected to commence in October. Both projects are managed by joint venture partner Ashanti Goldfields.

Morning- hear the same rumors as you- and that drilling now
being analized in lab with another month or so of drilling to be done yet. Seems to me that first drills must have been 'visually' impressive and depths were to over 150 m deep-. I always thought from months ago in my posts that the'
Tulawaka property in Tanzania (PGD 70% & MDN 30%) would prove to be as rich as Suttons (which Barrick bought out)- The geologists
will confirm that to you by theory--now I think its being confirmed by fact-drilling- Release yesterdays says resuls will be available in 3 weeks- so run up must be because of visual exitcement by poeple
over there in Tanzania who must have let the cat out of bag?
Just my speculation and opinion.

Regarding buyout hear tru brokers $4.00 for MDN and $9.00 for PGD-
guess that spec talk is due to evulations being given to the two companies if continued drilling comfirms anothe 'sutton' type discovery (which am convinced we will find!!!)
