Hi Ike: This 'breath' thing is a page from old book very soon Mr Buffet may realise that new economy may need new streaks of genius analysis, one being go with the crowd and keep buying puts from what you make on the long side and be near to the money,, like 1340 Oct.. if 1392 is being tested, you never go wrong We'll Ike its served him well in the past. But KO and G are having some problems (and they're still trading at high multiples compared to there future growth estimates . His insurance holdings will take a short term hit with the CATs on the prowl (although long term this should be beneficial). I see analyst indicating the CATs will be good for the reinsurers by allowing them to increase prices. They forget to mention the short term impact to earnings and surplus (surplus levels are key for ratings and the ability to write business). Hope all is well. Tim
