J.M.: According to page 4 of their last 10K, "The company leases 4,200 square feet in Kirkland, Washington for the purpose of advanced materials research. This lease provides for a term of 36 months that commenced on 10/11/1998.

In my discussion with Lev last December, when I told him we were from Seattle, he briefly told us that VLNC had a small group here & that it was primarily research as the area was rife with great researchers & research facilities. That was about it....I've looked in the phone book but they're not listed...perhaps there's another off-shoot that they're going by up here.
