There are pictures, and ever been out on the ocean and see the horizon curve? Moreover, the earth is here, the calculations for its shape aren't based on speculation of something that would've happened long ago. I'm afraid of what words to use here as you've set the precedence of twisting layman's terms into the scientific equivalent, so I'll say this: You stated without any doubt in your post that the big bang happened. Scientists only have research based on limited exposure to the universe. If it isn't painfully obvious as to what I'm getting at here, I don't see any reason why this thread should go on...
