Well I am back from Vancouver where I spent sometime with Mr. Kennedy, John Ostler and the rest of the crew. After about 2 1/2 hours with Mr. Ostler, I am even more impressed with Coiron than I was in the past. Mr. Ostler went through the whole development of Coiron from the beginning. It was most amusing to here him relate the past disagreement with the Chilean principles. Rock Res determined, early in their investigations, that the Breccia/Gold-Copper porphry was/is the primary target. The Chileans were interested in the "veins" and outcrops. Now that the IP has proven Rock Geologists to be correct, we have now effectively taken over as operator of the project. The IP has clearly identified a huge anomaly that effectively starts at surface. The most interesting thing about this anomaly is that the sides extend out to the "edges" of the mountain. Therefore, if their is any overburden, it literally can be pushed over the edge and allowed to tumble to the valley below. Where major costs are incurred are if you must lift, dig out or carry out any overburden. With Coiron it will be a matter of pushing it over the edge! It is most heartening to see the development of Los Pelambres to the north( I have pictures). A year ago the "promise of a 1.2 billion US dollar" development was just that, a promise. Today there are huge hydro lines running to the property, a slurry pipeline that runs to the coast is in place, and a seaport has been constructed as well as the other necessary infrastructure. What should be most assuring to RKR shareholders is that the slurry pipeline is only 2Km's away from the RKR property!! So if one were to speculate that we truly have a "world-class" deposit, then one could also speculate that the present infrastructure by Los Pelambres would likely result in a takeover bid....but that is a huge leap from where we are today......Its just nice to know that we are not in the middle of a vast wilderness without infrastructure around us! The agreement with City of London PR, should not be under estimated. They are a very reputable company that is listed in London "on the big board", they "rarely" take on companies without promise, so I'd say we are obviously have it! The staff of City of London include Ken Gooding who was the mining Editor of the Financial Times for 11 years! Ron Marshman is a qualified geologist/engineer with broad practical experience internationally in the mining industry. He was editor of an internationally renowned Mining journal before joining City of London! Fiona Meiklejohn was a senior resource journalist with the Australian based "Gold Gazette magazine....the list goes on and on! So they must like what they see! BC thing! I couldn't get anything out of anyone on the BC settlement...nothing! they say they are still negotiating with BC officials, but that the "Clarke" thing did slow things down! There are a number of rumours floating around in the office, but I won't spread rumours, so don't ask! JV thing! Well there is no doubt in Mr. Ostlers mind that majors are interested. we have now signed 8! I personally believe that a good drill hole will make them come running. At this point, I think they are just jostling for position. We will soon see, as we should be doing the preliminaries for the drill program, in the next while. My general impression after leaving the ofice is that everyone is really upbeat and sincerely believes they have a world-class deposit sitting a the top of the mountain. That is more than good enough for me! the Chief
