thanks lee, i dont know the stock either but i was interested in the ta take on it. im trying to incorporate "patterns" into an understanding of the dynamics of supply and demand. coordinating disparate pieces of the puzzle into a working model is what always takes time and experience for me as i am sure it does for all novices to one degree or another. having good feedback really helps to clarify things when i get too complicated and end up losing sight of the forest for the trees. i was looking at the different indicators that seemed to be saying a possible change was taking place, like volume increase via large numbers of block trades as the stock bottomed and then did a 123 uptake on increasing volume, positive money flow, divergent trending lines, and rising price in the face of a large position obviously being sold and met with willing buyers, [large blocks at the ask, double vol and val at ask rather than the bid, double uptick vol to downtick vol and confirming oscillators, adx et.al. also had upgrade and was rising in a down market. i thought it might serve well if it proves out in terms of recognizing changing trends in future as well as integrating theory with reality as the story unfolds in real time as opposed to looking at a chart that has already indicated everything because it has already all happened. i try to get good confirmation of trends before i jump in these days as i have made costly errors due to itchy trigger finger short analysis diligence in the past. i'm grateful for the response and caveat. robert minshew
