No, the $200 a month did not come from a chat. It came from the discussion prior to the fireworks on the first webcast of the Washington fireworks (which I believe you can still watch), and thus it would reflect the price as of July 4, 1998, well before Ampex took a stake in them, and when they were just getting started. I noticed it because I watched it after I had just talked to Gardy and gotten a quote at $5000 a month for a channel, and just weeks earlier he had said in a chat that it was $2000 a month.

As for the size of my buy today, it is not large, and reflects only a few percent of my current position. Actually I should say, if it executes it won't be large, because apparently no one is willing to sell any shares at 2 9/16, which bodes well for the stock to move up. Once the fear subsides, greed will return, and the old rule of investing is "buy from scared people and sell to greedy people".
