cpi says pc prices dropped over 3% in august. does this support strong end demand for dram users? does dram drop 3% when end demand is strong? or, rather, does it go up in price?

this data, and not my dreams ;-) , supports the idea that folks are building more boxes than they can successfully sell.

component pricing is accelerating higher while box pricing free falls. some box makers will make some easy choices in the future.

RE -- sell off

i smell something more than profit taking. INTC and TXN both are down hard. when MOMO guys see this, they may leave the town too, i guess, probably because of Floyd? <g>
