lorrie, I hate to tell ya', but you don't know squat when it comes to Jack Danforth, there is probably not a single person in the Senate that is held in any higher esteem than he was/is.... I live in Missouri and while I didn't always agree with Danforth (too moderate for me), he is a man of impeccable character. Since he was a Clarence Thomas supporter and "friend" that tells me all I need to know...... You'll have to look long and hard to even find a DEM that will go on record castigating Danforth. The man is CLEAN. bp
