LOL What an exciting announcement! I strongly recommend that everyone go back and reread it again. There is a whole lot of stuff buried within it. After you have read it again, then take another look at their last announcement concerning Bill Mottram! Vice President, E-Commerce What a great title?!!! Mr. Mottram said, "I am very fortunate to be joining a company that has the ability to compete in one of today's hottest markets with a standards-compliant systems architecture that is already web-based. This gives ASI a distinct advantage; we do not have to redesign our architecture to provide our customers with web-enabled ADC and data distribution solutions." Well folks, I'm pretty excited about what these two announcements have said. In my opinion, this signals an impressive shift by this company into a market that can have an exponential impact on their customer base. I will admit that given their traditional market (Fortune 1000 companies), I have always been impressed with the company's potential. However, I now see three great opportunities for them. 1) Servicing the needs of their existing customers (rolling out new installations to the parent company's branch operations). Given their existing customer base, this is an impressive market in its own right. 2) Selling to new customers in their traditional market. This company has demonstrated impressive growth in this area. There seems to be a steady stream of new companies (large ones) who are signing on with them. The customer statements that are included in the Press Releases announcing the deals are very telling. 3) Now with this new product feature, ASI has just entered a whole new arena E-Commerce! What I also like is that on the surface it seems like that in their area of expertise, there is no one else of any significance here yet. The folks at ASI must be having the same thoughts as those lucky individuals who have worked hard looking for a treasure, and they realized that they are there first to reach it before any one else. Betcha their sales team are going to be busy over the next while. <ggg> Yup, the story just seems to be getting better, and better, and . . . Crazy Canuk P.S.
