Duke, so you also noticed that SDRAM prices have been rising as of late, huh? Man, I remember when I could purchase a 128 MB DIMM for $140. Now all of a sudden it's $200!

On the one hand, this should only reduce the price premium that RDRAM has over SDRAM, as it seems that SDRAM's prices can't fall forever. No doubt there will still be a premium, though.

On the other hand, you've got your Anything But Rambus coalition using this news to spread more FUD. Before, the story was that no one would buy RDRAM because it was too expensive over SDRAM. Now the story is that no one would sell RDRAM because SDRAM prices are rising.

If anything, this situation only tells me that DRAM prices are anything but predictable.
