You make a good point,but the performance of the past 7 months is whats being questioned.Its similar to whats happening to AOL.I am neither bear or bull,I am a trader.

put it in the proper perspective...since the february event which put dell in a tail spin it has been up 17%. the inferior competition hwp +62%, ibm +59%, gtw +35%.......all after the publicized announcement of the demise of the pc.

if you go back to december 98, gtw +84%, hwp +69%, ibm +59%, dell +40%. why with the best of fundamentals is the stock the laggard in the sector. please enlighten me on this point.

past five years is money in the bank, has naught to do with present
