Re FGI. I talked to JL this morning. He said the quiet period will be over "Monday week". Very shortly after that is when I will publish the 20 Questions Interview with him in Offshore Drilling Bits. JL seemed upbeat and is planning a road show straight away after the quiet period. He has had to cancel three investment conference presentations this week and next due to the imposed quiet period. He was sorry to have to do that as they would have been good forums to "tell the story". Seems it is better to get the merger issues resolved now and take a little hit rather than delay everything pending the outcome of the Ocean Rig dispute. This way, it's over. Otherwise, more misery. I like FGI at this level. Wake up one day before Christmas and it's an $18-20 stock. So sayeth the Dog. big atoffshore.com
