The cards would sell. When I was at Clay county school district holding a class on video editing to media teachers, I asked them if they had heard of the music card. None had, but when I explained what it was, they all wanted to know about the program and said they would take cards ASAP. It is a good program, I just hope they implement it soon and it takes off.

<<This isn't about agreeing or disagreeing. It's about taking the initiative to make it work. That's what the fun is all about, and why your idea is a great example. Modify the delivery channel. Develop a colorful presentation, make a poster, have some of the kids dress up like their favorite music stars, play CD's on a boombox (not too loud!),have a small table where people can sign up. Look different! Call attention to your volunteers first! Establish your own identity! Make and hand out flyers that list the reasons to buy and use the music card (ideas that came from the initial meeting). Stick the flyers in the customer's shopping bags. Have telephone numbers on the flyers so people will know who to call after they get home, unpack their groceries, and now have time to read and understand.>>
