<<in most cases studied an extremely domineering mother was involved coupled with traumatic experiences with girls very early in the dating process.>>

This is not the case here. My wife is not domineering at all. We both tried to be fair with the kids and as far as I can tell we did not do anything to make them gay. Believe me when you first find out you do a lot of soul searching.

My son dated some very pretty girls in high school with very nice personalities. He is still friends with the girl he took to the senior prom. I even caught them necking one time. In college he told us about a party he went to where one of the girls was walking around nude. My wife asked him if that piqued his interest and he said not at all. Girls just don't do it for him.

My daughter is not as open as her brother but I know she dated several guys in college. She also says that men do not do it for her. She has never related a traumatic dating experience.

So I do not think that is the case in my kids situation.
