TA current view... strong evidence we are above the range of last week... we appear to be in a trading range with 171-172 as the floor (our former ceiling)... volume has picked up markedly in recent days as we begin the new upleg (positive sign) serious alpha gorilla behavior shown today as Dow and Naz are down badly despite favorable CPI news... stat rats use "alpha" as a regression measure of QCOM capability to rise independently of the S&P... on a good Naz day, we might have gotten to 180... when the sun shines next, we will rock this is encouraging, since the only resistance between here and old highs in the 190's is where we had a minor bounce off 182... expect a cup of coffee in low 180's on our upward bias path from here much of the gusto was used yesterday in the press release to help prevent further technical damage... now Jacobs seems to be teasing the cellular technology community with the identity of our new handset suitors QCOM is the new debutante !!! hey sailor, wanna a date? this honey wears wireless bras and is looking sweeeeet / jim
