Truedog, yes it's a shame that anyone has to go through a hurricane. When "Hugo" hit in 1989 I was working for an insurance company, and we had to take shifts on the claims phones. I felt so bad for those people, talking to them on the phone. We had to explain that even though the house was gone and there was no mailbox anymore, the adjusters had to have an address to assess the damage. As you can imagine there were some pretty sad cases. The CEO and board of directors had an emergency meeting. And I thought it was wonderful that they were doing this to help people in need. I later found out that the meeting was held to find as many ways possible to get out of paying claims!

I always suspected insurance companies were crooks. But after having worked for one, I "Know" they're crooks.

fortunafely, we don't get much hail in this area. But I know it's a car dealer's nightmare.

So it was Dan rather who started it. And all of the other idiots have been following suit ever since. You learn something everyday.
