Well. . .Dow down 109 and Naz down 54. . . and our trading stocks did just fine.

HLTH + 6 1/4 [+16.58%]
ETYS + 2 25/32 [+4.75%]
MKTY + 2 7/16 [+8.04%]
VVVI + 2 [+19.51%]
LQID + 1 13/16 [+5.03%]
WHX + 3/16 [+1.95%]
ABWG + 1/4 [+2.44%]

Losers included ADAP -2 7/32 [-5.92%]; LDIG -3 1/16 [-13.32%]; UBID - 3/4 [-3.23%]

There is no reason for this sell-off. . . nor for the breadth being negative. The market has been pad jumping from fear to fear. . .Greenspan to CPI to PPI to . . . ? ? "Quick! Someone get us something to fear. How about Floyd? Yeah, that will do."

What's next?

"The rate of speed at which factory workers remove the paper from their straws has slowed .3 percent today, which has caused a sell-off in the futures markets and led to a triple digit decline in the Dow."

Give me a break. . .this is just more wash and rinse. . .and will probably continue through the end of the year. . . <yawn>

Come 2000, we will enter the biggest bull market run the world markets have ever seen, in my opinion. I am fully invested and intend to stay that way, until I see signs that China is about to devalue. Incidently, at some point after January 1, I believe other nation's markets will outperform American markets by a long shot.

Rande, any thoughts on Rosi at this level? It seems a bit beaten down for a company with decent earnings.
