BT shares soar after mobile communications pact

British Telecom and AT&T, its US partner, said they had formed a strategic pact with the aim of providing a seamless global mobile communications service. The two companies are currently awaiting approval for their $10bn global venture designed to serve multinationals and internet service providers. Shares in British Telecom were last up 5.17 per cent at 935p.

Also, I'd like to thank everyone on this thread for all the help and ideas...I post on a very irregular basis since I cannot trade full time and my schedule tends to get messed up on short notice (ie, no daycare today because of Floyd) but I appreciate all the work done and want to contribute when I can.
