Ike, that's right...here's how it's going to play out: first, violent unwinding of Yen carry trades (expect a 15 Yen jump in Yen/Dollar any day now) with the attendant pressure on bonds, second, liquidation of stock market positions, third, short covering in gold, with several limit-up moves starting off the new game in town... the overleveraged financial system will NOT be able to take the strain of this happening...if this plays out, the Fed funds rate will be cut by a 3/4 pt. at or before the November meeting.
