It "took CUBE down with it" on less than 20,000 shares of trading. That's called: "Hi, I'm Mr. Market Maker and if you Joe six-pack want to get out now with fifteen minutes left in the trading day then you, Joe six-pack will have to pay me, Mr. Market Maker, an exit fee because I'm closing shop for the day.

Pace Moves Offices to the U.S.; Appoints new President of the Americas


BOCA RATON, Fla., Sept. 13 /PRNewswire/ -- To capitalize on its leading
position in the digital TV market worldwide, Pace Micro Technology plc,
Europe's largest manufacturer of digital set-top boxes, has moved its North
and South American offices to the United States, and appointed Neil Gaydon as
President, The Americas.
Based in Boca Raton, Fla., Pace's new U.S. base will house its sales,
marketing, service, and engineering divisions for the American markets. As
Pace's President of The Americas, Gaydon is responsible for the development of
Pace's business in both North and South America, with particular focus on
digital television in the U.S.
"The U.S. market accounts for one third of the worldwide market for
digital and has been singled out for special attention by Pace," Gaydon said.
"With our extensive experience worldwide in being first to market with digital
set-top boxes, we are now ready for prime time, and uniquely positioned to
generate profits for operators, not promises," he added.
Gaydon and the Pace team are actively targeting U.S. cable MSOs with
Pace's customized DOCSIS- and DAVIC- compliant digital set-top boxes, as well
as telco, satellite and wireless operators with other Pace solutions. "Pace's
has a solid reputation worldwide for providing operators boxes without
boundaries, customizing boxes based on the customers' requirements," Gaydon
said.
Pace has already formed alliances with U.S. market leaders such as Cisco
Systems, Microsoft, and BellSouth Entertainment, and is currently negotiating
agreements with several major MSOs.
