a theory will always eventually be found true?
That's not what I said but perhaps I was not clear. There are many theories that are wrong, most barely get a hearing. There have been active campaigns to disprove a theory. A famous one from the late 1960's was Velecovski's theory that the planet Venus somehow came close to Earth and the gravity tug pulled the Red Sea apart just in time for Moses and that hydrocarbons were stripped from Venus atmosphere to fall as manna from heaven, Frogs died. Remember? It was in Reader's Digest.

No it's the important ones that are patched and polished and get stronger and better (Unless like the steady-state theory of the universe they his such a big exception that they have to be scrapped).
