OTGlenn, if KIS posts his positions, what exactly is wrong with that? i do the same from time to time. regards, hp, You need to understand KIS better. I do agree there is nothing wrong with posting ones positions if in fact they truely are ones positions. KIS claimed once on the AMZN thread to have bought puts on YHOO at a certain strike and expiration. Nothing wrong with a post of that kind. However, KIS also stated how many contracts he bought. The problem was that many contracts did not trade for YHOO puts of that expiration and strike for the entire day. In addition, the cost of that many puts would have been about $2 million and that was on YHOO alone. There have been so many posts by KIS on the AMZN thread that are so rediculous regarding his trades in terms of the number of contracts and the speed of confirmation that KIS has lost all credibility. This is also true with equity positions. Also, KIS lied so much he had forgotten what positions he claimed to have so follow up posts were not consistant with his claimed positions. KIS was asked by various frequent posters to fax his confirmations just to verify he was being honest and KIS promised he would fax these confirmations. KIS's real name, account number, etc. could be blacked out to protect his identitity. Not a one on the thread received the promised fax and then KIS left likely due to embarassment. I would go track down links to some of the craziest posts you would ever want to see made by KIS about positions he took but this would take a long time. You may ask anyone on the AMZN thread if KIS lies and lies big time and you will get a yes from the entire thread. I was wrong for "junking" up this thread about KIS. You will learn about him soon enough but believe me, KIS does not trade at all. KIS did get a nickname on the AMZN thread "KISSY PUTS AND CALLS." One last comment. The number of option contracts KIS claims to buy and sell would not be possible due to lack of liquidity in the options market even for the the most liquid stocks. te statement of instant confirmations on these trades is really in outter space. Anyhow, that was how the negativity on KIS came to be. I never "met" anyone like him/her on a thread anywhere and I have 22,000 posts on SI alone I believe. I would rather move forward on the market and ignore KIS now. Wasting time on KIS does not make me money in the market. I am sorry to have written so much here. Glenn
