Yes, but also things that cost money: Incentives, having modern plant & equipment and and educated well trained work force; Things that inflation or higher rates can make unprofitable or impossible, and cut into productivity big. Take the 'good CPI news" today, there is still so much Greenspan fear out there, and this Fed Fear, as intangible as it is, is hurting markets, and in turn, hurting business and the economy in general.
