And I got pregnant using everything but the pill, which is why I switched right after the abortion. I was determined never to have another abortion and it seemed the most effective way to ensure it. You are quite correct, CB, no method is perfect except perfect chastity. I am, however, disturbed by the assumption that women should bear so much of the responsibility, regardless of the realities of who has to deal with the problem, you know? Perhaps I am being a bit overly idealistic, but I think that it should be equally clear in the male mind from the teen years on that there may be consequences.
